CASA'S annual "Night of Hope" fundraising event will be held
Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Wildwood Park
The Night of Hope event raises awareness of our cause and support for abused and neglected children in Pulaski and Perry County foster care.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a non-profit child welfare organization for abused and neglected children. Our CASA volunteers (advocates) are appointed by Judges and assigned to children in the foster care system. Our CASAs are invaluable - they are the voice for the child. The CASA gets to know the child and speaks with everyone involved in the child's life, including family members, teachers, doctors, attorneys, and social workers. The CASA gathers information and makes recommendations to the Court to help the Court make informed decisions regarding the future of the child. CASA volunteers are dedicated and committed to a child until that child's case is closed. For many of these children, their CASA advocate is the only constant presence in their life.
There are over 700 abused and neglected children in foster care in Pulaski and Perry County. Today, over 65% of these children in foster care have no access to a CASA. Friends of CASA are committed and dedicated to serving every child in our community, and we need your support.
Our Night of Hope fundraising event raises awareness and support for these abused and neglected children. Your generous decision to sponsor this event will change the lives of children in our community.
We are seeking corporate sponsors for this phenomenal event.
