Barbara Haynes is our first advocate of the quarter for 2019. Barbara retired from Easter Seals in 2016. During her 18 years there She was a statewide special education consultant for students with severe/multiple disabilities and education coordinator of the Easter Seals Residential Center. Before that, she was a special education teacher for 16 years and in real estate for over 10 years. She enjoys walking and hiking (She hasn’t missed the Little Rock Half-Marathon in 10 years!), she also enjoys cooking, travel, her two rescue dogs, and four grandchildren. Barbara has been an advocate since August of 2017. She is a strong voice both in and out of the courtroom. Since January 2019, she has been a part of an adoption of four children and a strong advocate in the education of another child. She has also attended 16 hours of training, logged 104 contact hours and drove 762 miles to make sure her CASA kiddo's have what they need and she has the education she needs to be their voice in and out of the courtroom. Pulaski County CASA feels honored to have Barbara on TEAM CASA.
